Queenscliff

Now is the time boys! Queenscliff is really starting to fire up, the schools of busting up salmon are back as strong as ever, we have been doing very well on them in the past week-the Salmon have been in and around the Rip every morning like clock work, munching on white bait.

The entrance to Swan Bay has been producing flathead to one meter long on soft plastics and plenty of pinkies, pike and squid.

Off Shore

This season has been the most successful for us as far as off shore trips go We have had consistent captures of mako sharks and even managed a couple on the fly rod! The boys have also been doing very well bottom bashing while waiting for sharks to come up the trail, with regular catches of tiger flathead, snapper, gummy and school sharks, couta well over the meter mark, loads of reef species and squid.

Corio Bay

One at 3.5kg, one at 4kg and ten at around 45cm was the report card from our plastics trip on Corio Bay last night(10th Jan 08), that was in 4hrs! The Snaps are really starting to fire up, and plenty of by catch...rock flathead to 80cm and pike to a meter. The Bait boys have had regular bags of whiting around the 35cm mark as well as Snapper to 8kg!
