Soft Plastics trip

Soft Plastic/Lure Trip

Join us for a full day on Corio Bay on board our purpose built vessel.

Target species include Snapper, Bream, Salmon, Flathead and Trevally. We often have catches of Snapper to 6kg and Bream over 40cm...if you don't believe me, have a look at the photos!!

Corio Bay is quickly becoming one of the best Soft Plastics fisheries in Victoria.
It has a vast amount of Reefs, Piers, Mariners, Channels and Flats, which means we can target many different species with different techniques.

From twitching placcys under hulls to swimming SX40s in the shallows or hitting some of the deeper ground with vibes, even casting placcys at crazy bust ups of Salmon or fishing the unforgiving mussel farms, if that's not enough carnage we might fish some pylons. Tighten the drag and hold on!!

All the lures, rods, jigheads, leader etc are supplied, hard body lures are also supplied but must be paid for if you loose them, you are more than welcome to bring your own gear. Lunch and drinks are also supplied, if you have special requests please let us know when booking.

This is a full day trip and starts at sun up at the limeburners boat ramp (Melways Ref: 452 H2) You will need a hat, Polaroid sun glasses, sunscreen and appropriate clothing/wet weather gear and fishing licience.
This trip is dependent on weather and if it's forecast for more than 25knots we will need to reschedule.

Shorething is our 6 meter plate alloy boat that we use on this trip, it has front and rear casting decks and a bow mounted minn kota electric engine. It has plenty of room for up to 3 anglers.
